What is Emonics Academy?
Emonics Academy is a subsidiary institution of the Emonics group. It is an online and offline coding Bootcamp that makes you job-ready within 17 weeks so that you can land your dream job in the ever-so lucrative tech world.
As a recruiting firm that specializes in recruiting talent for IT companies, Emonics has years of experience in hiring the best talent out there and providing tailored IT Staffing solutions for IT companies in the United States. We observed that IT companies needed young, energetic, and, most importantly, skilled people to work for them. But there was a shortage of that type of talent. While at the same time, people were desperate to apply to these IT companies to start their IT careers. Most applications were rejected due to a lack of/poor knowledge of the required skillset. That’s when Emonics came up with the idea of Emonics Academy.
The problem was that there were only a few talented college grads who could crack the coding interview and provide that certain IT company with the desired skillset. The others would also get hired but not at the as attractive package as some college grads would score.
The reason behind this was simple. College grads from big schools like Harvard, Stanford, or Caltech used to get hands-on training for coding. In simple words, they were already made to work on projects giving them the practical experience which is utterly important in the IT industry. While college grads from small colleges that were not as well versed in their skillset as the former college grads would get hired at not-so-attractive annual salaries.
To tackle this and provide hands-on experience to college grads who lack the practical aspects of their skills, we decided to start Emonics Academy.
While this is one reason, it is not the only reason.
It is no secret that there is also the type of students who are not so financially sound that they can even afford to go to a community college, let alone the big schools, and don’t want to take a hefty student loan.
Emonics Academy was founded to pave the road for them and help them attain their dream tech profession.
How does Emonics Academy Bootcamp work?
Emonics Academy Bootcamp is a Study Now, Pay Later coding Bootcamp that provides in-demand job-ready skills to students so that they can crack their coding interview in the first attempt (most likely) and land their dream tech job. And Emonics Bootcamp provides the education and placement opportunities so that you can learn carefree without worrying about whether you’ll get a job.
So, In short, with Emonics Academy, our goal is to help students who cannot or could not land their dream job because of a lack of the right skills or lack of finances so that they can start to be part of this lucrative IT industry. At the same time, employers hire young talent with job-ready skills.
A student doesn’t have to deposit any fee for this Bootcamp; they only have to pay in easy instalments when they secure their placement and start working.
Now, if you’re not a student and you are already working in another career field thinking of getting into the IT field, don’t worry; Emonics Academy is free for you until you secure a job and start working in an IT company.
What courses does Emonics Academy offer?
Emonics Academy provides various courses under its Bootcamp program. These courses are comprehensive, practical, and quick enough to make you a job-ready developer within 3 months, unlike a college/university student who has to spend 4 years in college to start working.
Currently, Emonics Academy is offering 3 major coding courses that are high in demand in the IT job market.
1. Java Full Stack Development
2. DevOps on AWS
3. Android Application Development
Here’s a breakdown of each one of these:
1. Java Full Stack Development
Java is one of the oldest programming languages out there. And guess what, it is the oldest programming language that is still highly in demand as this language plays a major role in the development of various software projects and mobile and web applications.
Java was one of the greatest inventions in the history of programming languages. It gave the world the power to build robust backend systems that revolutionized the tech world.
And over the years, this language has evolved to another level, which still makes it relevant in this modern world with many programming languages.
Java has been one of the top preferred languages for building online applications. But that’s not just it:
Here’s why Java is widely used, preferred, and well-accepted:
1. Java is an object-oriented programming language. This is the primary reason why this language is loved so much.
2. One can quickly learn Java. Of course, no programming language is “easy,” but once you start getting it, you advance towards being proficient in this language.|
3. Java has this cross-platform functionality that allows them to say, “Write Once, Run Anywhere”.
4. Access to a great set of tools: Java has evolved so much that it offers excellent tools and APIs that help you a lot when you are working on projects.
5. Access to a big community: The community of Full Stack Java Developers is massive. So you can join any online community and get great help from them.
So all this means that Java has a huge demand, and there is a lot of demand for Java developers.
These good things about Java are also why Java should be every developer’s first language.
And at Emonics Academy, we make you a job-ready Java developer within 10 weeks.
Our extensive Java Bootcamp covers the Basics of Web Development, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
You can also join both full & part-time according your convenience. We conduct instructor-led sessions with a maximum of only 15 active students per class. We will train you to achieve the mastery of Java Full Stack Development so that you can go out there to create and work on real-world projects.
With expert, instructor-led sessions focused on practical learning, you get to go from scratch as a beginner to learn advanced concepts.
Our instructors having hands-on industry experience will make you proficient enough so that you can work your way through the ladder they have already climbed.
Now that was all about our Java Coding Bootcamp. Now, If you want to pursue something that is more challenging and in trend, we also offer an extensive Bootcamp on DevOps on AWS. This is what we are going to cover in this next section.

2. DevOps on AWS
What is DevOps?
Well, basically, DevOps is a paradigm or a framework which basically is aimed to facilitate faster development of applications by bringing together the development and operations teams in synchronization.
Since this is a very efficient model, the demand for software engineers with multiple skills is increasing every day.
Let’s break down the DevOps.
DevOps is basically 2 teams working together right from the get-go. Here the two teams collaborate from the beginning when the application/software is created to testing it, then deploying it, and at last also handling the operations. So as a DevOps engineer, you are expected not to be limited to a single function.
The focus of DevOps is to increase the velocity of a project by employing a suite of tools and tech stack that help them automate processes that take time and increase their productivity.
Now we at Emonics Academy teach you DevOps on AWS, which is highly in demand mainly because AWS provides a set of services that enable you to practice DevOps.
Here’s a list of the suite of tools that AWS specifically provides to facilitate DevOps and that we also teach you here at our academy
AWS CodeBuild: AW CodeBuild is a fully managed build service software that lets you compile code, run programmable tests and deliver software.
AWS CodePipeline: AWS CodePipeline is an integration provided by AWS that builds, tests, and deploys your code to a live application every time you make changes for new package releases. This saves you a ton of time in updating the existing application with the new set of code manually.
AWS CodeDeploy: This is an integration on AWS that deploys new features and handles the application during downtime, and handles many other complications that may arise during the operations. In simple words, It automates the deployment work.
Unified CI/CD Projects: This is another tool by AWS that allows you to build, test, run and deploy new applications really quickly.
These are all the DevOps tools that are employed in the real world to produce better software/applications faster.
And guess what! You can learn it all from Industry experts for free.
And these are just an introduction to DevOps on AWS. There are plenty of other tools that AWS offers to the IT companies, and those IT companies need qualified engineers to work with these tools to quickly deliver high-quality software/applications.
In our DevOps on AWS course, you will learn:
Linux
Version Control Tool Git/GitHub
Build tool Maven, Npm
Artifactory Nexus
Jenkins
CI/CD Pipeline
Docker
Kubernetes
SRE Troubleshooting issues (Google/Apple)
Python/Shell script Most frequently using logics

As of now, Emonics Academy provides extensive Bootcamps on these three skills. We are also planning to introduce new courses as we move forward. Now, if you are a student considering a career in the tech industry, then we know what is going around your mind.
“What should I choose, Bootcamp or college?”
“Do companies offer jobs to Bootcamp graduates?”
“Is this Bootcamp online or offline?”
“How much salary can you expect with the placement given by Emonics?”
“How will I crack the interview?”
And we get it; these questions are natural to come to a doubtful mind. Let’s address this one by one.
“Bootcamp or college, what should you choose?”
This is the most burning question in the mind of a student. While both options are good and have their own place, none are certainly inferior to each other. It really comes down to your personal situation, or what game plan do you have for yourself ahead?
If you are someone who wanted to go to college all your life, then without a doubt, you should go to college. And college is a great place to learn and work in a collaborative environment on assignments, plus the networking opportunities that colleges offer are immense.
The only two problems one can have with college are the 4 long years that one has to spend there. Also, in tier 2 and tier 3 colleges, the environment is not as challenging and motivating as it is in Tier 1 big-city schools.
The other problem with colleges is that studying in a college now costs a fortune. Colleges are so expensive that students who want to go to such colleges also have the capability but don’t have the resources and are not able to go to these institutions. Plus, even considering a student loan is a stressful thought.
Enter Bootcamps. In the last 10 years, Bootcamps have acted as saviors for students who have a unique financial situation or students who don’t want to go to college and want to get into the real world right away.
While a college will educate you over 4 years, a Bootcamp course will only take 6-8 months, some even 3-6 months, to impart the expertise from teachers who have been there in the trenches of the coding and IT world per se. They teach you from the real-world experiences that they have had.
And on the other hand, Bootcamp costs a fraction of the big school’s yearly fee.
And just like colleges, in some Bootcamps like Emonics Academy Bootcamp, you are also offered placements.
Do companies hire Bootcamp graduates?
Gone are the days when your degree was more important; these days, companies value your skills. Companies are in dire need of fresh, young, and passionate talent, and 64% of companies don’t care whether you graduated from a college or you went to a Bootcamp.
As long as you can produce results and work hard, then you will be rewarded regardless of your educational background.
Here’s an interesting fact, the big tech companies like Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, and Google also don’t care whether you graduated from college or you graduated from a Bootcamp.
Is Emonics Academy Bootcamp online or offline?
Well, folks, we believe that when the classes are offline, you learn the best, but we also provide online classes as an option for students who can’t commute daily or travel to another city for classes.
What is the salary that I can expect as a “Bootcamp graduate”?
It really depends on your skillset and the amount of knowledge that you grasp. But on average, the salary of a Full Stack Java Developer starts at $92k-$93k per year, and the experienced Java developers can go as high as $140k-$150k per year.
In addition to the above, the average salary of a DevOps engineer stands at $125-$126k per year. Also, an Android Developer makes around $118k-$120k per year.
But the skillset that you will acquire will enable you to start working on your own idea as well.
How will I crack the interview?
At Emonics Academy, we have industry experts who have hands-on experience in the IT world and who have gone through such interviews a good number of times. All our Bootcamps, apart from teaching you coding skills, also teach you how to crack coding interviews.
You will be taught:
– How to speak confidently?
– How to analyze and respond to analytical questions?
– What are the kinds of questions interviewers ask?
– What does the interviewer wants to know with a certain question?
– And lastly, how to give your best in the assignment that you will be given during the interview process?
Okay, now all is said and done!
You must be wondering why we are doing this?
