Promote Diversity, Equality & Inclusion

To develop and maintain a system that promotes diversity, equality, and inclusion for all people, regardless of their background.

It is our objective to uphold the values of trust, integrity, sincerity, and mutual respect in all of our business and skill operations. It lays the groundwork for a more promising future in which our whole Emonics community is heard, supported, and involved at all levels of our organization’s operations.

At Emonics, we value and encourage diversity and inclusion in all aspects of our business, including our staff, our communities, and our collaborations. We choose to promote multiculturalism in all places, allowing everyone to thrive. We also believe it’s vital to lead inclusively.

Emonics Returnship Program

Returning to work after a long professional sabbatical may be thrilling and difficult. We think taking a work break to explore other passions makes you stronger and more energised. Emonics welcomes any employees who have had a professional break.

Emonics Internal Lateral Job Moves Program

Depending on your ambitions, you may determine that a left or right leap is the ideal next “forward” move. We term this a lateral motion. A lateral shift might sometimes be the correct step forward in your career. We are driven to advancing our employees' careers and talents inside our business. Staff may explore available opportunities using internal tools.

Long-term action

While diversity in the workplace has always been a focus at Beacon Hill, we took our first formal steps toward a sustainable DEI practice in 2019.

We sought out a DEI consulting firm that engaged with our executive committee to examine the company’s current state and to recommend best practices for the future. In the coming years, Beacon Hill will continue to cultivate an environment of diversity, equity and inclusion by providing resources, maintaining equitable workforce practices and policies and advocating for all of the unique voices within the community.

What we've done

  • First DEI Seminar

Our entire senior leadership team met in-person to be trained on the topic of unconscious bias. An outpouring of enthusiasm followed the seminar which inspired the formal rollout of our companywide DEI program.

    • Upgrading how we recruit

Beacon Hill seeks to achieve equitable representation through targeted recruiting. Every Beacon Hill employee is required to pass courses on effective job board postings and ensuring equality for all qualified candidates, EEOC compliance and discrimination. Re-certification is required annually.
